Casinhas das Vinhas is hidden amongst the array of old Portuguese buildings, fronted by a small garden purposely wilded with grape vines, wisteria, passion fruit vines and an array of other local species of plants, providing the perfect escape. Rua André Albuquerque, name after a hero from the Restoration War, is quiet residential street, but just a stones throw away from the pulsing town centre.


Built in the 1890s, the house was one of the first homes to be built in the town growing around the train station that connects Sintra to Lisbon.


Downstairs the an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.



Up a couple of steps there is also bathroom.



Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a king size bed (Europe) and balcony with views up to the Moorish Castle.



The is another bedroom down the hallway with a duplex bed which can be used as a single or pulled out to form a king size bed.


There is also a study/yoga space, walk-in wardrobe and laundry room as well as a bathroom.





Only one room is not open to guests, an office room on the ground floor which will be locked during your stay.
