Casa Via d’Agua is located off Rua Via d’Agua, the main road running the centre of the village of Faja Grande. There is street parking on this road where you can leave your car. An enchanting, dry stone walled pathway, with cobbled floors and wild flowers, will then lead you to the house, that stands alone, surrounded in green, air and light.

Fajã Grande has a number of restaurants and bars to enjoy the sunset as well as some small shops.

The town extends out of the cliffside, stretching out to the ocean, reaching the furthest west of any European village.
